National Roll-Out

Banking Partners | National Roll-Out

BankWork$ is proud to partner with three leading financial institutions: Bank of America, U.S. Bank and Well Fargo. All have pledged $1 million over five years to support our national expansion to 12 to 15 cities, which will enable BankWork$ to place 1,500 to 2,000 graduates annually in banking positions by 2018. Executives from the three banks help with program curriculum, ensuring that it is up-to-date and meets the workforce needs of the financial services industry. All three also are among the banks that regularly hire our graduates and help them begin their successful careers.

Foundation Partner | National Roll-Out

The Sheri and Les Biller Family Foundation, which founded BankWork$, also has pledged to contribute $1 million to help with the program’s five-year expansion. The Foundation acts as a catalyst for programs that educate and energize people to reach their personal goals and, in turn, inspire others to do the same. The Foundation funds supportive care, education and theater enrichment programs as well as BankWork$.

Training Partners

A key to the success of BankWork$ lies with its on-the-ground training partners. Since its beginning in 2006 in Los Angeles, BankWork$ has worked with JVS, which helped develop the eight-week course and continues to assist with updating the material and training new partners. BankWork$ expanded to Seattle in 2011 and partnered with the YWCA. JVS and the YWCA have helped graduate more than 1,499 students and helped place about 1081 into banking jobs.
